Apple Raises Developer Program Fees in Some Countries

Starting today, developers will notice new rates and fees with the developer and product program. This is only taking effect in some European countries. In the U.S, the price of being either an iOS or OS X developer is $99 a year. Before, the price in Germany was €80 ($96) a year, however Apple has raised the price to €99 ($119).
The price was also raised in the UK. Before, it was €60 ($92), but now it’s €79 ($121). Right now we’re not sure if any other countries will adopt the higher price. We’re also now sure why Apple has decided to raise the price.
