Apple Releases New Mac Pro Materials Use Report

In a report by Apple detailing the new Mac Pro’s power efficiency, they also said how much of what materials the computer is made of. The chart above shows that it’s made of 3,660 grams of aluminum and steel, 715 grams of copper, and 270 grams of plastics. The big number of aluminum and steel might seem like a lot, but it’s 74% less than the previous Mac Pro, which was four times the size of the new Mac Pro.
