Apple SIM Not Expected in iPhones

With the launch of the cellular version of the new iPad Air 2 and mini 3, Apple introduced something new called Apple SIM. What this allows you to do is to buy a single cellular iPad and when you insert the SIM card you can pick your carrier. This is great for people who switch between T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T often. However, Re/Code says that they’re not expecting this to be a new feature in upcoming iPhones. In a statement from Apple, they say that Apple SIM in the iPad is for “customer convenience”, but since most people buy new iPhones at a cellular store, there is no need for it.
