Apple to Charge for Out-of-Warranty Support

According to 9to5Mac, Apple is going to start charging for support of devices that are out of warranty. This is going to be for getting support online for your device. Previously, Apple would still provide online support for devices out of warranty, but they will soon be changing that.
Customers who want over-the-phone support will need to pay anywhere from $29-$49. Now, they are expanding this to online support for a fee of $19.00. However, there is an option where you can explain why they should make an exception and not charge for that support.
This fee for online support is yet to make an official debut. When this does come into affect we will be sure to notify you.
