FCC Information No Longer Required on iPhones

Last night President Obama signed an E-Label act, which states that the etching of FCC information is no longer required on devices. What this does is it eliminates the unsightly icons on the bottom of the back of most devices. This includes the FCC icon, don’t throw away icon, CE, and others. However, this E-Label will then require that information to be placed somewhere else within the operating system of the device. This will likely be found within the Settings app on a iOS device. Right now we’re not sure what Apple’s going to do with this, since the information is still required in other countries.
