Google Now Notifications Available in Chrome

After being in beta for about one and a half months, Google Now notifications are now available within the full Chrome browser. To get the Google Now notifications you need to make sure you are signed into Chrome. Restarting Chrome may also be necessary, since Chrome updates in the background. As for me, under the updates tab it says that I’m up to date, but don’t have the Google Now notifications. This works on OS X, Windows, and Chrome OS.
